Job summary

Uniglobaltechnologies seeks a Director of International Alumni and Travel to drive engagement through international networks and the Minnesota Alumni Travel program. This high-impact role oversees a global portfolio, reporting to the Sr. Director of Alumni Networks at the Alumni Association.

The position is a broad, organizationally oriented role with revenue targets, personnel supervision of two student employees, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to expand global alumni programming.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus at least six years of relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience developing and managing relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and identities.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
• Experience with and commitment to working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, interests, and cultures.
• Proven ability to develop timelines, implement innovative strategies, identify problems and solutions, and conduct systematic process/program evaluation and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Minnesota Alumni Travel Program with roughly 55-65 itineraries annually to drive demand and revenue.
• Expand travel models for young alumni, graduating seniors, and other groups.
• Create University of Minnesota connections within global itineraries with faculty, study-abroad, or alumni events.
• Vet international tour providers and negotiate contracts to protect interests and profitability.
• Design multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brochure requests and bookings.
• Recruit, brief, and train university travel hosts to enhance traveler experiences.
• Provide traveler support and resolve issues in partnership with alumni staff.
• Monitor budgets and revenue-share targets; assess program impact and refine offerings.
