Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Global Public Policy Manager to lead policy engagement on compute infrastructure, export controls, AI competitiveness, and sovereign AI strategies. You will position Cohere as a trusted partner in national AI initiatives and infrastructure discussions.

In this role you will monitor policy developments, develop positions, engage with governments, and collaborate with product and commercial teams on strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in public or technology policy or related fields.
• Understanding of AI infrastructure and export controls.
• Ability to assess policy developments and business implications.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AI infrastructure and policy developments.
• Develop policy positions on sovereign AI and compute access.
• Engage with governments on infrastructure investments.
• Collaborate with product, commercial teams on opportunities.
• Represent Cohere in policy discussions on AI infrastructure.
• Produce policy analysis and thought leadership.
