Job summary

Nscale, based in the Bay Area, seeks a Director of Media Relations to lead global media strategy and external communications. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to guide media engagement, messaging consistency, and high-impact external communications across channels.

You will prepare executives for high-profile opportunities, manage inbound media considerations, and help shape narratives that position Nscale as a leading AI infrastructure provider.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in media relations or external communications in tech or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives on high-visibility communication.
• Excellent judgement, risk assessment, and clear recommendation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute global media relations strategy for Nscale.
• Advise senior leadership on external communications and media engagement.
• Prepare executives for media interactions, speaking engagements, and industry events.
• Assess inbound media opportunities and align with company strategy.
• Develop clear narratives positioning Nscale as an AI infrastructure leader.
• Build relationships with top-tier journalists and industry influencers.
• Lead messaging around major company moments and announcements.
• Provide guidance in fast-moving or sensitive situations.
• Establish media handling processes for speed and quality at scale.
• Support event strategy and ensure executives participate in high-impact engagements.
