Job summary

Moderna in Norwood, MA is seeking a Manager for Maintenance Excellence & AI Transformation to champion digital modernization across Facilities & Engineering Maintenance operations. You will drive AI-enabled maintenance initiatives, governance, data integrity, and standardized processes across the Moderna network.

Responsibilities include leading global strategy, developing predictive maintenance solutions, KPI programs, and collaboration with Digital and IS teams to define the future-state

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Facilities & Engineering, Maintenance Operations, EAM administration, Reliability, or related environments.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to influence global teams and drive organizational change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational excellence and innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise initiatives across multiple sites and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Maintenance Excellence strategy across all Moderna sites with standardized processes and governance.
• Serve as the AI-driven transformation champion for predictive maintenance, data analytics, and digital workflows.
• Lead AI-enabled solutions to improve maintenance planning, PM optimization, asset reliability, and technician effectiveness.
• Drive governance and data integrity across maintenance systems and records.
• Partner with Digital, IS, and enterprise tech teams to define future-state roadmaps for EAM and analytics.
• Develop enterprise KPI strategies leveraging AI and BI tools to monitor performance and compliance.
• Champion predictive and condition-based maintenance programs using reliability-centered approaches.
• Ensure GMP-compliant data integrity and validation across tools and workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve maintenance maturity.
• Support smart manufacturing and connected worker initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
