Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Raritan, NJ seeks a Director, Global AI Forward Deployed Programs to lead production Generative AI solutions across Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access. You will align global and regional teams to ship impactful AI products that solve real business problems for GCSO.

This senior role requires 7+ years in software/AI engineering, 5+ years of people management, experience with LLMs, RAG, and CI/CD, plus strong collaboration with stakeholders and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, Engineering, OR related field; Master/PhD preferred.
• 7+ years in software/ML/AI engineering or technical consulting; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build Forward Deployed Engineering capability across GCSO and regions.
• Provide technical standards and OKRs tied to outcomes.
• Define AI use cases, scope work, and success criteria.
• Define and monitor financial impact metrics (token costs, ROI).
• Review architectures and ensure production-ready AI solutions.
• Stay hands-on with discovery, prototyping, and debugging.
• Ensure regulatory, privacy, ethical, and MLR compliance.
• Build repeatable playbooks, templates, and knowledge base.
• Champion AI adoption across GCSO.
