Job summary

Grenzebach Corporation is seeking an AGV Commissioning Engineer to lead factory and on-site deployment of AGV systems, ensuring a seamless transition from build to operation. This role covers system configuration, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and integration with fleet management and site networks for real-world readiness.

Minimum 3+ years in commissioning industrial machines or mobile robotics, with travel across domestic and international sites (>50%).

Qualifications

• Degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, industrial networks, and Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform factory bring-up, configuration, and validation of AGV systems.
• Debug mechanical, electrical, and software issues prior to shipment and on-site.
• Configure PLCs, safety systems, and Linux-based IPCs.
• Set up WLAN and industrial network connectivity.
• Execute navigation setup, SLAM-based mapping, calibration, and optimization.
• Integrate external I/O systems and plan site installation and commissioning.
• Conduct FAT and SAT consistent with customer requirements.
• Train customer teams on operation and preventive maintenance.
