Job summary
Grenzebach Corporation in Newnan, GA is seeking an Automation Commissioning Engineer to lead factory and on-site commissioning of AGV systems, ensuring smooth transition from build to operation.
You will configure PLCs, safety systems, and Linux IPCs, test navigation with LiDAR SLAM, and collaborate with customers to meet requirements through FAT and SAT.
This role requires travel and hands-on field work, with opportunities to grow within a multinational automation leader.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and related field.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering, schematics, EPLAN, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automated equipment and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on PLCs, industrial networks, and Linux-based systems.
- Familiarity with IT basics (WLAN, IP config, network diagnostics).
- Experience with LiDAR-based navigation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform factory and site commissioning of AGV systems.
- Configure PLCs, safety systems, and Linux IPCs.
- Set up WLAN and industrial networks.
- Conduct FAT and SAT to meet customer requirements.
- Train customer teams on operation and maintenance.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
