Qualifications

• A relevant university degree.
• Extensive leadership experience, typically 15-20+ years in senior commercial/operational roles within global logistics, aerospace, or Defence industries.
• Deep understanding of Aerospace & Defence ecosystem including OEMs, Tier suppliers, defence contractors, MRO providers, and related supply chains.
• Strong appreciation of regulatory, quality, security, trade compliance, and risk in aerospace & defence supply chains.
• Ability to translate industry trends into strategic growth opportunities and differentiated solutions.
• Proven track record of developing and executing global commercial strategies delivering revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
• Executive leadership with experience in global matrix organizations and cross-functional alignment.
• Excellent stakeholder management to engage C-suite customers and senior industry stakeholders.
• Strategic and commercially entrepreneurial mindset with governance and compliance awareness.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global Aerospace & Defence vertical strategy in line with overall priorities and growth ambitions.
• Drive sustainable global revenue growth through strategic account development and new business opportunities.
• Position DSV as a trusted strategic supply chain partner to aerospace and defence customers across ecosystem.
• Develop industry intelligence and stay connected to market dynamics, customer priorities, and geopolitical factors.
• Translate industry developments into actionable commercial strategies and scalable logistics solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, regulatory, and trade requirements across the vertical.
• Lead global commercial excellence including account planning, engagement models, and sales effectiveness.
• Oversee the global enterprise account structure to coordinate strategies across regions and divisions.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to convert strategy into market execution with consistent value proposition.
• Represent DSV in executive engagements and industry forums to elevate visibility and credibility.
• Foster a high-performance leadership culture and cross-country collaboration.
