Carleton College is seeking a temporary Admissions Officer to join the Admissions team for a twelve-month period. You will handle a full cycle from reading applications to conducting interviews, advising on policies, and planning recruitment travel starting in spring 2027.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all aspects of the general admission cycle, including reading first-year and transfer applications to recommend admission.
• Leading information sessions to provide an overview of the liberal arts at Carleton.
• Conducting on- and off-campus interviews to assess interest and fit.
• Advising prospective students on admission and financial aid policies in writing and verbally.
• Onboarding to manage a recruitment territory with targeted travel starting in spring 2027.
• Represents the College to external agencies and communities to maintain visibility.
• Supports a welcoming environment for prospective students and families.
• Coordinates special projects and divisional programming as assigned.
