Job summary

ADTRAN is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our general ledger and R2R activities, ensuring GAAP compliance, accuracy, and timely close across global operations. You will drive process improvements, controls, and finance transformation initiatives, including SAP optimization and automation.

You will partner with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Operations to standardize processes, mentor the team, and deliver reliable reporting for management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA strongly preferred; CMA or equivalent beneficial.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP ERP highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global close processes and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
• Review accounting transactions to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Direct the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Support internal management reporting and financial statement preparation activities.
• Assist with external reporting requirements, where applicable.
• Manage and execute global consolidation and financial reporting activities through SAP Group Reporting, ensuring accurate and timely consolidated results.
