Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across global entities from our Charlotte, NC office. You will own consolidated reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and provide technical accounting guidance on revenue, leases, and intercompany transactions.

You will oversee audits, liaise with external auditors, and collaborate cross-functionally on cash activities, banking, and tax reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting preferred).
• Experience in multi-entity, global environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across global entities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement review.
• Own consolidated financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide technical accounting guidance (revenue recognition, lease accounting, intercompany transactions).
• Oversee audit processes and serve as primary liaison with external auditors.
• Partner cross-functionally on cash activity, banking transactions, and reconciliations.
• Support tax reporting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor team members and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
