Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an Accounting Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area to oversee monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations. You will coordinate internal reports and support audits, working with international accounting teams to standardize policies and accelerate close timing.

You should bring hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP, a strong general ledger background, and CPA certification. Fortinet offers comprehensive benefits and an equity program.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in international accounting.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and U.S. GAAP.
• Strong general ledger accounting skills and Excel proficiency.
• CPA certification and Big 4 experience valued.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the monthly close process including journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet and income statement analyses.
• Coordinate internal reports, ensure compliance with Fortinet policies.
• Work with cross-functional and international teams on projects.
• Oversee local accounting providers and ensure timely deliverables.
• Assist with financial transformation initiatives and process improvements.
• Support external audits and regulatory filings.
