Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC is offering a paid Global Accounting Intern position for the summer (May–August 2027). The role supports the Global Accounting & Close team with closing administration tasks, journal entries, cost distributions and close checklists.

You will report to the Accounting Manager, work in a hybrid setting at Cranberry, and gain hands-on experience in SAP, Blackline, and accounting processes while learning how a global energy leader operates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with the preparation of the closing checklist in Blackline and the accounting calendar.
• Help post legacy non-SAP entity's trial balance feeds from non-US locations into SAP including mapping of legacy accounts
• Help prepare Blackline account reconciliations and journal entries for accounts under Global Accounting & Close organization
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in existing business practices and create standard operating procedures documentation
