Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Global Accounting Intern to support the Global Accounting & Close team with closing administration, journal entries, cost distributions, and closing checklists. Located in Cranberry Township, this is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

• Help post legacy non-SAP entity's trial balance feeds from non-US locations into SAP including mapping of legacy accounts
• Help prepare Blackline account reconciliations and journal entries for accounts under Global Accounting & Close organization
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in existing business practices and create standard operating procedures documentation

About The Role

As a Global Accounting Intern you will provide support to the Global Accounting & Close team with the closing administration functions by assisting with preparing journal entries, cost distributions and assuring completion to journal entry closing check lists for the Global Accounting & Close organization.

You will report to the Accounting Manager and be located at Cranberry. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support with the preparation of the closing checklist in Blackline and the accounting calendar
• Help post legacy non-SAP entity's trial balance feeds from non-US locations into SAP including mapping of legacy accounts
