Job summary

Oliver James is partnering with a global, publicly listed organization to recruit a Manager for its International Accounting & Consolidations team. This newly created role offers ownership of the international monthly close and consolidation across a complex multi-entity environment, with exposure to senior leadership.

The position emphasizes process improvements, controls, and automation. Hybrid Atlanta work arrangement, with two in-office days weekly, and collaboration with an offshore team

Qualifications

• Active CPA required.
• Public accounting experience, ideally Big 4 / Top 10.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience across financial reporting, consolidations or corporate accounting.
• Public company and/or multinational experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication with stakeholders across functions/geographies.
• Process-improvement mindset and willingness to challenge how things are currently done.

Responsibilities

• Own the international monthly close and consolidation across a multi-entity environment.
• Drive process improvements, controls, and system enhancements.
• Support senior leadership and cross-functional teams in international reporting matters.
• Collaborate with an offshore team and manage key stakeholders across geographies.
