Job summary

Oliver James is partnering with a global, publicly listed organization to recruit a Manager for its International Accounting & Consolidations team. This newly created role offers ownership of the international monthly close and consolidation across a complex multi-entity environment, with exposure to senior leadership.

The position emphasizes process improvements, controls, and automation. Hybrid Atlanta work arrangement, with two in-office days weekly, and collaboration with an offshore team

Qualifications

• Active CPA required.
• Public accounting experience, ideally Big 4 / Top 10.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience across financial reporting, consolidations or corporate accounting.
• Public company and/or multinational experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication with stakeholders across functions/geographies.

Job description

I'm working with a global, publicly listed organization that is looking to add a Manager to its International Accounting & Consolidations team.

This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible international reporting function while working closely with senior leadership and finance teams across multiple countries.

You do not need to be a pure consolidations specialist. Candidates coming from public accounting with strong technical accounting, financial reporting or corporate accounting experience are encouraged to apply. The specification specifically requires public accounting experience, management experience and an active CPA, alongside strong US GAAP and consolidation knowledge.

Compensation:

~$135K base + 15% bonus, with some flexibility for the right candidate.

Location:

Atlanta | Hybrid, Tuesday & Thursday in office
