Job summary

TikTok is seeking a seasoned compliance lawyer to support global ABAC initiatives and advise on internal controls, policy development, and risk mitigation. You will partner with internal teams and external counsel to ensure adherence to evolving anti-bribery and corruption laws across markets.

The role requires strong ethics, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to operate across time zones in a fast-paced tech environment. A JD from an ABA-accredited school and U.S.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
• Qualified to practice law in the U.S.
• Experience in ABAC and related public laws
• Experience at international law firms and/or in-house with multinational company

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and practical legal counsel on ABAC-related issues and risks to internal stakeholders
• Draft, revise, and implement ABAC policies, procedures, and controls
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
• Perform due diligence for third parties, agents, intermediaries, and M&A to ensure ABAC compliance
• Develop and deliver ABAC training programs for employees and third parties
• Implement monitoring activities to track compliance and support investigations
• Stay informed of changes in laws and act as a resource in enforcement defense matters
• Support ad hoc projects for the Global Legal Compliance team
