Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Senior Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Compliance Counsel to join our Global Legal Compliance team in Washington, DC. You will provide strategic counsel on ABAC risks for gifts, entertainment, sponsorships, and third-party engagements.

You will draft policies, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and support investigations across global time zones, helping mature our ABAC program while partnering with business units and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school; admitted to practice in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and practical legal counsel to internal stakeholders on ABAC issues including gifts, entertainment, sponsorships, donations, and engagement with public officials.
• Draft, revise, and implement ABAC policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with legal requirements and best practices.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify ABAC vulnerabilities and implement targeted mitigations.
• Support third-party risk management with due diligence for third parties, agents, intermediaries, and M&A under ABAC standards.
• Develop and deliver ABAC training programs to employees and third parties to promote integrity and compliance.
• Implement monitoring activities to track compliance, detect red flags, and support investigations in ABAC space.
• Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and act as a technical resource during enforcement matters or regulatory inquiries.
• Support ad hoc projects for Global Legal Compliance team.
