Job summary

Noatum Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth of our global 3PL Air and Ocean Freight business in the regional market. You will leverage your import/export freight experience to build compelling value propositions and strong client relationships.

The role requires strategic planning, collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to manage budgets and territories. Travel will be required, and bilingual capabilities are a plus as we serve multinational clients.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in 3PL international freight forwarding.
• Proven track record in new and existing business development in ocean and air freight.
• Strong knowledge of international air freight forwarding and supply chain management.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and time management skills, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Two or more languages is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support Noatum Logistics USA's growth by developing new business in international air/ocean freight forwarding (primarily).
• Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans to exceed margin and volume goals.
• Understand current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that will increase margins.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to execute business development strategies for new and existing customers.
• Report on performance with insight into changes to customer performance and market impact factors.
• Manage business development programs to promote business between specific countries and/or product offerings.
