Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an IT Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to join a global IT team supporting 24/7 production operations across US, EU, and APAC.

You will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure, improve automation, and help deliver reliable, scalable systems. The role requires strong Linux/Windows skills, Python, Bash, Ansible, and experience with OpenStack, VMware, and storage arrays from Nimble, Pure, and NetApp.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, ideally in 24/7 production.
• Strong Linux/Windows operating system knowledge.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, and Ansible scripting.
• Experience with API integration and development.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack and VMware virtualization.
• Familiarity with Nimble, Pure, and NetApp storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 production support ensuring high availability.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions across tech stacks.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Manage Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Implement API integrations to improve interoperability.
• Administer OpenStack and VMware environments.
• Manage Nimble, Pure, and NetApp storage arrays.
• Collaborate across teams on multiple projects.
• Continuously improve infrastructure and processes.
