Job summary

SPS Corporation seeks a Glazing Mechanic to professionally install glass and aluminum systems on varied projects—curtain walls, storefronts, windows, and doors—requiring precision, safety, and quality workmanship.

You will read blueprints and work orders, take field measurements, load and position materials, and install systems with teamwork under the foreman’s direction, while following PPE rules and safety procedures on busy construction sites.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years glazing or related construction experience.
• Able to read construction documents and layout drawings.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred (or able to obtain within 30 days).
• Physically able to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install exterior & interior glass panels, aluminum framing, doors and hardware per project specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and work orders.
• Take field measurements and verify conditions before installation.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep the site clean and safe; follow safety regulations.
