Job summary

Palmetto Glass, Inc. in Florence, SC is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to guide glazing projects from initial estimate through completion. You’ll work closely with customers, contractors, suppliers and installation crews to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and proficient with plans and estimating software, with a willingness to work in the field and travel to jobsites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in glazing, construction or estimating preferred.
• Ability to read plans or construction documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to visit jobsites and work in the field.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications and job requirements.
• Visit jobsites and field-measure projects.
• Prepare material and labor estimates.
• Prepare bids and proposals.
• Coordinate with general contractors, customers and suppliers.
• Schedule and coordinate installation crews.
• Track project progress, costs and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate project records.
