Job summary

Palmetto Glass, Inc. in Florence, SC is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to guide glazing projects from estimate to closeout. You will work with customers, contractors and suppliers, visit sites, measure, prepare bids and coordinate crews to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read construction plans or willingness to learn.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications and job requirements.
• Visit jobsites and field-measure projects.
• Prepare material and labor estimates.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals.
• Communicate with general contractors, customers and suppliers.
• Order and coordinate materials.
• Schedule and coordinate installation crews.
• Track project progress, costs and deadlines.
• Identify potential problems before they become expensive problems.
• Help resolve field issues and change orders.
• Review completed work and assist with project closeout.
• Maintain accurate project records.
• Communicate daily with our office, shop and field crews.
