Job summary

Palmetto Glass, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to lead glazing construction projects in Florence, SC. The role involves taking projects from initial estimate through completion, coordinating with customers, contractors and our crews.

You’ll work closely with suppliers and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate cost tracking. We value organization, reliability, and the willingness to learn the glazing business.

Qualifications

• Must be organized with ability to manage multiple projects
• Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
• Good communication with customers, contractors, and suppliers
• Able to read construction plans and learn software quickly

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs and job requirements.
• Visit jobsites and field-measure projects.
• Prepare material and labor estimates.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals.
• Coordinate with general contractors, customers and suppliers
• Order and coordinate materials
• Schedule and coordinate installation crews
• Track project progress, costs and deadlines
• Identify potential problems and address them
• Assist with project closeout and maintain records
