Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is a plus.
• Working knowledge of curtainwall, storefront, thermal systems, hardware packages, specialty glass, and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, addenda, and bid documents for commercial glazing projects.
• Perform and verify takeoffs, labor assumptions, scope, exclusions, and RFIs as needed.
• Independently prepare detailed estimates and change orders; ensure bid package accuracy.
• Maintain proactive communication with general contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Send and track RFQs; verify quotation accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead pricing discussions and contribute to bid negotiations.
• Analyze historical pricing to keep proposals accurate and competitive.
• Take ownership of complex estimating tasks and communicate constraints early.
