Fargo Glass & Paint Co. is hiring a Commercial Glass & Window Installer/Glazier. We train you with paid on-the-job training, starting from basics like glass handling and safety. This role supports storefronts, curtain walls, and glass installations at commercial or residential sites.

You will lift up to 75 pounds, work outdoors in all conditions, read blueprints and shop drawings, and use hand and power tools. The team operates in small crews with a fast pace and a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly or installation of storefronts, curtain walls, aluminum doors, pre-glazed windows, skylights, HM Glass, glass rails, architectural metal, shower doors and mirrors at commercial or residential sites.
• Able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Read shop drawings and apply information to your work; read manufacturer installation instructions; use hand and power tools.
• Follow directions, work overtime, and be willing to travel as needed.

NOW HIRING: Commercial Glass & Window Installer/Glazier (WE TRAIN)
NO EXPERIENCE? WE WILL TRAIN YOU.
We hire for attitude and work ethic—not just experience.
We provide paid on-the-job training and apprenticeship development, including:

• Glass handling and safety procedures
• Installation techniques and tools
• Blueprint reading basics
• Field layout and measurement
• Commercial jobsite workflow

Summary: Assist in the assembly or installation of storefront, curtain wall, aluminum doors, pre-glazed windows, skylights, HM Glass, glass rails, architectural metal, shower doors and mirrors at commercial/residential sites.

Role and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis
• Willing to work outside in all conditions
• Able to work off ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, platform lifts, scaffold, and swing stages (at any height)
• Able to be insured to drive company vehicles.
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic understanding of how to use hand and power tools
• Willing to work overtime
• Willing to work out of town
• Have a willingness to learn a trade
• Able to take direction and follow through with what you have been told
• Able to read shop drawings and apply information to your work
• Able to read and understand manufacturer installation instructions
• Have an understanding of how to assemble both storefront and curtain wall

Hours: Start and end times will vary; Monday-Friday7:30am-5:00pm
