Job summary

Owens Corning is hiring for a production associate in Vandalia, OH. You will read tickets, set up and operate production machinery, and ensure tasks meet blueprints and safety guidelines. The role requires high school diploma and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, with strong attention to detail and reliability.

• Regular attendance and timeliness essential to avoid production disruptions.

Job description

Reads orders, gathers ordered materials/doors, reads/interpret tickets, pull, clean, and install glass inserts according to customer order(s)

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Pay:

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Vandalia and may not be applicable to other locations.
