Job summary

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join our manufacturing team and support the glaze line and tile production process.

Requires a high school diploma and manufacturing experience; strong communication, measurement, and record-keeping skills; ability to read and speak basic English; this role includes standing, lifting up to 50 pounds and following ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
• Loads and unloads ball mills.
• Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and control plans.
• Follows Environmental, Safety & Health procedures and requirements.

Primary Objective

• Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
