Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Glaze Line Operator for the D shift (nights) to join our MFG TEAM in a large tile and stone manufacturing operation in the United States. This role focuses on operating the glaze line and inspecting ceramic tiles throughout the production process.

You will monitor equipment, report problems, perform hourly quality checks, handle materials with powered industrial trucks, follow standard procedures, keep the work area safe and clean, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Operates the glaze line and inspects tile.
• Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Glaze Line Operator t o join our MFG TEAM! As the Glaze Line Operator, we need someone to operat e the glaze line and inspect tile to produce the ceramic tile manufacturing process.

Primary Objective

O perates the glaze line and inspects tile .

Major Function and Scope

Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.

Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.

Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.

Follows operating procedures.

Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience .

Manufacturing /production experience preferred.
