Job summary

Dal-Tile, the leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, seeks a Glaze Line Operator to join our manufacturing team in a production-focused role. You will operate the glaze line, transport and weigh materials, and monitor quality to support the ceramic tile manufacturing process.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, have manufacturing experience, and possess strong communication and measurement skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
• Loads and unloads ball mills.
• Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and control plans.
• Follows Environmental, Safety & Health procedures and requirements.

Primary Objective

Major Function and Scope

Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.

Loads and unloads ball mills.

Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.

Creates samples and performs quality control checks.

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

Follows standard operating procedures.

Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Manufacturing/production experiencepreferred.
