Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join our manufacturing team in Texas. You will operate the glaze line, inspect tiles for quality, and ensure compliance with ISO procedures and safety standards.

The role requires basic English, good communication, and accuracy in measurements. Candidates should be willing to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a noisy production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operates glaze line and inspects tile quality.

Recruiting Profile

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Glaze Line Operator, we need someone to operate the glaze line and inspect tile to produce the ceramic tile manufacturing process.

Major Function and Scope

• Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
• Loads and unloads ball mills.
• Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and control plans.
• Follows Environmental, Safety & Health procedures and requirements.

Experience And Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Competencies

• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
