Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to support the glaze line and inspect tile during the ceramic tile manufacturing process. Join a large tile and stone manufacturer with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic English, and strong attention to detail. You will contribute to quality control, operate the glaze line, and work in a loud, dynamic manufacturing setting with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• Good listening and measurement accuracy.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Loads and unloads ball mills.
• Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
• Creates samples and performs quality checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safety rules.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Major Function and Scope

• Produces glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
• Loads and unloads ball mills.
• Monitors glaze and paste levels on production lines.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Performs Other Related Duties As Required.
• Follows ISO operating procedures and control plans.
• Follows Environmental, Safety & Health procedures and requirements.

Experience And Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
