Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to operate the glaze line and inspect tile during the ceramic tile manufacturing process. The role involves monitoring equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring safety standards are met in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and manufacturing experience, with strong communication and measurement skills, and the ability to work with basic English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communications; strong record keeping.
• Accurate measurement and basic English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
