Job summary

Dal-Tile in the United States is seeking a Glaze Prep Technician to support glaze prep and batching operations. You will follow the Quality Management System, assist with material inventory, and help ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing and either Dal-Tile glazing certification levels II/III or 18 months+ in ceramic tile work. Strong reading/writing of English and basic computer literacy are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Dal-Tile glazing certification Level II or III or 18+ months in tile industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer literacy and reading/writing in English.
• Knowledge of glaze line, quality standards, and ceramic manufacturing safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols across plant and department.
• Drive housekeeping and efficiency in glaze prep and batching.
• Follow Quality Management System and assist QA with procedures.
• Plan and schedule batching plant orders and manage raw materials.
• Train new hires and existing staff on glaze prep operations.
• Support maintenance teams to sustain operator care programs.
• Provide call-in coverage for glaze prep and batching as needed.
