Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to operate the glaze line and inspect tile within the ceramic tile manufacturing process. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, manufacturing experience preferred, and strong communication and measurement skills. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors glaze line equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Inspects tile for quality defects in the manufacturing process.
• Performs hourly quality control checks to ensure tile is within specifications.
• Operates powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from the glaze lines.
• Follows operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
