Job summary

Avantor’s Advanced Laboratory Services team in Malvern, PA, is seeking a lab-focused candidate for an onsite role. You will perform mission-based lab work, manage glassware, and support end-to-end lab operations in a GMP-regulated environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related lab experience. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with hourly pay of $17.00–$18.97.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience and/or applicable work experience.
• 1+ year of glass wash experience preferred and/or applicable work experience.
• Knowledge of scientific products and services is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using computers.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in a GMP-regulated facility strongly desired.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and wash dirty glassware.
• Autoclave glassware and tubing.
• Restock all clean glassware.
• Assemble tubing.
• Disassemble bioreactors.
• Dispose of cell waste and media.
• Check and inspect eyewash stations once a week.
