A creative art studio in Savannah is seeking a part-time Glass Studio Assistant. The role requires a strong desire to learn about stained glass processes and studio equipment. Job description

Knack Studio – Savannah is looking for a patient GLASS STUDIO ASSISTANT to become a member of our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest in stained glass and a desire to hone their craft.

This role requires basic understanding of the stained glass process and terminology. If you’re eager and hardworking, we can teach the rest!

Role and Responsibilities

Cut, grind and organize glass for one-time classes

Responsible for general studio cleaning (mopping, wiping table tops/walls, grinders, studio tools and other equipment)

Manage sheet glass inventory weekly and communicate stock needs to management

Willingness to learn and take direction.

Able to multitask and be pro‑active, can work without supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

Strong desire to learn is a MUST.

A knack for art/all things creative would be helpful but is not required.

General understanding of stained glass and studio equipment is required.

Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Schedule:

Part‑Time

3 hour shift (3hrs/wk)

3 hours a week of scheduled studio access. Employee Discount on Glaze Your Own Pottery for friends and family. Discounted classes & workshops (based on availability).

Pay: $15 per hour based on skills

GLASS STUDIO ASSISTANT may grow into GLASS INSTRUCTOR.
