Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in North Brunswick Township, NJ is hiring a Glass Stacker to produce Insulated Glass units on the Intercept Lines. This fast-paced, physically demanding role requires precise hand work, adherence to quality specs, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will stack spacers, maintain line cycle times, move production carts, and report quality or machine issues to supervisors. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; training and full-time schedule on 2nd shift

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must have fine motor skills and precise placement abilities.
• Ability to work in tandem with another operator.
• Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Places spacers onto glass light and 2nd glass lite on top of spacer according to quality specifications.
• Consistently hold cycle time of the line.
• Movement of carts in and out of production work area.
• Communicate quality issues observed upstream or downstream.
• Communicate mechanical issues with machines to leadership or maintenance staff.
