Job summary

Professional Placement Services is seeking a General Maintenance candidate for a glass recycling facility in Sarasota, FL. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role on the 1st shift (Monday–Friday).

You will be involved in preventative maintenance, glass sorting, and operating the optical sorting line, with general labor tasks as needed. Candidates should have welding experience and be comfortable working in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments in Florida.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is required.
• Hands-on, labor-intensive maintenance in a glass recycling facility.
• 1st shift, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Operate, sort glass and maintain the recycling line.
• Operate the Optical Sorting Line and assist with general labor tasks as needed.
