Job summary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glassunits

• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials orwindows

• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, orrouters

• Understand and carry out verbalinstructions

• Read and carry out simple writteninstructions

• Read work orders, labels, andschedules

• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for productdefects

• Make fraction and decimalconversions

• Operate any equipment needed to perform ajob

• Perform other duties asassigned

• Provide on-the-job training to newemployees
