Job summary

The Glass Guru of Columbia, SC is seeking skilled Glazier/Installer to deliver quality home installations and exceptional customer service. The role requires inspecting materials, loading components, and communicating any delays to ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have 3 years of residential glass installation experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record. Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years residential glass installation experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• All candidates must pass initial background check and drug test.
• Valid license to drive, a clean DMV record.
• Physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials for correct size, style, and damage before installation.
• Load materials, tools, paperwork, and safety gear for each job.
• Notify office and customer if installation will be late.
• Validate work scope, locations, and time estimates with customer on arrival.
• Install products and services, troubleshoot installation issues on-site.
• Note any issues or required materials for later completion if unsafe.
• Coordinate with team on incomplete work and material orders.
• Protect customer property and leave site cleaner than found; use booties.
• Educate customer on care, maintenance, warranty, and how to contact for future service.
