Job Description

The Commercial Glazier / Estimator must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with storefronts, glass surfaces, and various applications such as windows, doors, mirrors, insulated glass units, shower enclosures, display cases, and tabletops. The role involves interacting with customers, contractors, team members, and management to ensure quality workmanship and excellent service, maintaining a low warranty rate. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction both inside and outside the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Take off storefronts and glass from drawings
• Estimate storefront packages for new and remodel projects
• Use chemicals and adhesives as instructed for installation
• Engage with customers to build relationships
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Select appropriate tools, safety equipment, and parts based on job requirements
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in glazing and estimating
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Computer skills relevant to the position
• Clean DMV record
• Non-smoking environment
