Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate in Marion, OH for the 1st Shift (Mon-Thu, 6am-4:30pm). Base pay is $17.00 per hour with duties focused on fabricating components for window assemblies.

The role involves repetitive, physically demanding work, using hand/power tools, and standing for long periods. Training provided; background/drug screens required; prior manufacturing or tape-measure experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
