Job summary

Minneapolis Glass Company in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a full-time Machine Operator on first shift to join our Glass Fabrication Team. You will operate machines that cut, edge or polish glass products and contribute to on-time production.

The role offers a union base starting at $29.82/hr, with increases to $32.86/hr after 12 months, along with a strong benefits package including a pension, health insurance, and opportunities for growth within a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience operating production machines or manufacturing work.
• Knowledge of glass fabrication strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to work with tools and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and standing for 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that manufacture glass products.
• Perform basic equipment setup and maintenance to ensure high-quality production.
• Adhere to standard operating processes to ensure on-time job completion and specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and accuracy in production processes.
