The position involves setting up and operating a glass-edging machine to polish edges, inspecting products, and following production labels and instructions. Ideal candidates are energetic team players comfortable in a production setting, capable of lifting up to 75 lbs

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions from supervisor/manager.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting product for abnormalities and notify supervisor of issues.
• Read labels and follow work instructions to expedite production. Understand paperwork and labels/picking list.
• Set up and operate a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish edges.
