Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Glass Door/Frame Production Assembler to join the team in Richmond. You will transform glass, doors, frames, and related parts into reliable sub-assemblies and finished units while following travelers and SOPs.

You will use hand tools, electric drivers, and pneumatic tools, maintain 6S at the workstation, and verify quality at each step to ensure safety, performance, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production assembly experience.
• Able to read tape measures and interpret specs.
• Math confidence with fractions and decimals; accurate tape measure skills.
• Knowledge of 6S and ability to follow detailed job specs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per standard work, moving from parts to sub-assemblies to completed products.
• Work with hand tools, electric drivers, and pneumatic tools.
• Meet or exceed targets for quality, productivity, safety, and housekeeping.
• Maintain an organized, clean area with 6S across spaces.
• Inspect using visual checks, tape measures, gauges, and calipers.
