Job summary

Tucker Door and Trim is seeking a Glass Cutter for our Glass Line and Window Production Team. You will cut glass per order using a CNC cutter/optimizer, with some manual cutting and edging of finished pieces. The position handles stand-up work, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout shifts.

Full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday, with health benefits, PTO, and 401(k). Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment screens.

Qualifications

• CNC or Machine Operation experience.
• Experience Cutting, Glazing, Handling, or Installing Glass.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Cut glass per order while utilizing the CNC Glass Cutter/Optimizer.
• Perform some manual cutting and edging of cut glass.

We are growing and want you to be part of our team! We are hiring a Glass Cutter for our Glass Line and Window Production Team. The Glass Cutter is responsible for Cutting Glass per order while utilizing the CNC Glass Cutter/Optimizer, some Manual Cutting and Edging the cut glass.
Tucker Door & Trim is a premier wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry.

  Requirements
• CNC or Machine Operation experience.
• Experience Cutting, Glazing, Handling, or Installing Glass.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• This position requires standing at a workstation for long periods of time, bending and stooping, pushing and/or pulling, repetitive motions
• Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Read, understand, and accurately follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions.
