Job summary

Tucker Door and Trim is hiring a Glass Cutter to join our Glass Line and Window Production Team. The role involves cutting glass per order using the CNC Glass Cutter/Optimizer, with some manual cutting and edging of the cut glass.

Qualifications

• CNC or machine operation experience.
• Experience cutting, glazing, handling, or installing glass.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.

Responsibilities

• Cut glass per order using the CNC Glass Cutter/Optimizer and manual cutting as needed.
• Edge the cut glass and ensure proper finishing.
• Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions.

The Glass Cutter is responsible for Cutting Glass per order while utilizing the CNC Glass Cutter/Optimizer, some Manual Cutting and Edging the cut glass. Tucker Door & Trim is a premier wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry.

Requirements

• CNC or Machine Operation experience.
• Experience Cutting, Glazing, Handling, or Installing Glass.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• This position requires standing at a workstation for long periods of time, bending and stooping, pushing and/or pulling, repetitive motions
• Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Read, understand, and accurately follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions.
