We are searching for an experienced Glass Assembly Machine Operator at our Irving, TX facility.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure

Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects

Place glass into bungees racks and metal A-frames per customer required specifications

Should be able to accurately reject glass from bungees and squeeze racks

Properly close finished orders

Read and fill out proper unload paperwork (run list, packing maps)

Should be able to set up customer orders properly

Communicate with the Q.C. and shift lead regarding quality or breakage issues

Never allow the line to get backed up with glass

Must possess a high sense of urgency

Help unload packer when able depending on glass production requirements

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Reliability

Ability to pass physical and aptitude tests, involving basic math, fractions, tape measure literate and reading comprehension.

Prior manufacturing/production, forklift/overhead crane experience is a plus.

Willing to work overtime, weekends if required

Maintain and wear all required personal protective equipment

Attend all safety meetings

Participate in pre-shift warm-up excercises
