Job summary

TeraWulf, a Maryland-based energy company, is seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to support the Corporate Controller with daily accounting operations and onsite functions. You will maintain accurate general ledger records and assist in monthly closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting, 2+ years of GL experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, Excel proficiency, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or related area.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Corporate Controller in managing daily accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
